Thank you for taking interest in Smart Clothing

Here is some more detailed information about us and what we are doing.

A Platform Deep Dive

Lets break down each feature of our platform, and its benefits.

Platform Deep Dive

Security and Authentication:

Counterfeiting

Our NFC tags work like a VIN number for clothing. Every item in a batch is unique. Authenticity can be verified from within the app and cannot be tampered with thanks to multi level, end-to-end encryption.

Counterfeiting is a multi billion dollar industry. With our technology it is essentially impossible.

Security and Authentication:

Proof of Purchase

When a user buys an item with Smart Clothing integrated, they can add it to their wardrobe in the app.

But what if someone steals an item from a store or tries to scan it in store and add it to their wardrobe?

Items can only be added to a wardrobe after a proof of purchase like a receipt or email confirmation.

Data Collection:

Post-Sale Customer Retention

Most brands never get to interact with their customers, and most retailers lose their interaction with their customers after they walk out of the door. Unless an email list is set up, very little interaction is made after the sale.

With Smart Clothing, anonymous data is collected from users when garments are interacted with in the app. Users can get recommendations for new items based on outfits or their style, and brands get to see how their apparel is performing.

Data Collection:

Merchant Portal

Brands and retailers get curated access to data associated with their merchandise in order to better target customers and optimize sales. See if users are combining your apparel into outfits, how often they schedule it on their in-app calendar, and how often it is shared.

Accessibility:

Discover New Apparel

Learning algorithms can identify the tastes and styles of each user in order to better recommend outfits and styles. Our Discover page is designed to create as many opportunities as possible for users to discover apparel that otherwise never would have been offered to them. This is based on what may be trending, newly available in their area, what friends are wearing, and more!

Accessibility:

Better Access to Important Details

Every garment includes all metadata that would typically be found on a traditional printed tag. All of this information is easily accessible in the app.

Accessibility:

Real Time Inventory Metrics

The Smart Clothing Platform is directly connected to brick and mortar retail inventory so that users can search for something on the app and go straight to a store to purchase it.

Accurate Sizing:

Consistent Measurements

Every garment added to the platform is individually measured and recorded. This ensures that we can provide users with accurate information about the fit of each garment.

Accurate Sizing:

Perfect Fit

Users will not need to select a size within the app when looking for clothing. This will be automatically taken care of. The users can even decide if they like their clothes to run a little large or a little small, or get the perfect fit.

Social Experience:

Digital Wardrobe

When an item goes into a user’s closet, it also goes into their digital wardrobe on the app. They can then add it to outfits and have easy access to information about their garments. There is even an option to add garments and outfits to a calendar to schedule what to wear, or make their next trip more organized.

Social Experience:

Outfits

Garments from a user’s wardrobe can be mixed and matched on a virtual mannequin to create outfits. This is because we photograph every garment on the platform in a studio to get an image that will look consistent. No more “art board” outfits!

Outfits that users create can be shared to other users, on social media, or if it starts trending it will show up in the Discover tab.

Social Experience:

See What's Trending

Learning algorithms are hard at work figuring out how to create a catered list of items to show each users so that they can discover their next great buy. This is made up of several categories sort of like Netflix’s home page of “Trending” “More Like…” “Buy it again” “More from X Brand” “Winter is just around the corner” etc.

Social Experience:

Gamifying Apparel

Our goal is to allow people to interact more with their apparel, and encourage users to dress nicer and care more about what they wear. We have gotten caught in a loop of jeans and T shirts because it is convenient and goes with anything. The only way to break this loop is to make it easier and more fun to dress better.

Why Are We Doing This?

There are a lot of problems with the apparel industry and community.

There is no sizing consistency, there is a massive counterfeit market, we can't  try on clothes that we buy online, or we have to go through a painful return policy, and it's hard to find new clothes we actually like, or just buy more of what we already know we like. It’s also very hard for small businesses to make a name for themselves in this cutthroat market. We want to level the playing field!
