The learning curve of a 3D artist

Naivete...the story of my life. We are always learning. I just checked one of my old posts on here, and...wow. I called Blender limiting! Was I crazy? I got most of the things I wanted. I don't have Cinema 4D, but then again I'm not a motion graphics artist. The software is fun, but I have everything I need right now. The biggest challenge is learning. I need to master manual retopology, create better photoscans for photogrammetry, and continue getting better at composition for my renders. I am sure that in another 3 or 4 years I will look back on this day and see that I had a lot to learn. But that' part of the fun!

Here is the progress I made in rendering a couple of bathroom scenes (the same space, just different props) throughout my learning process. There is still a lot I would change about the newer image. Every time I make a render I look back on it a week later and see how it could be improved. At the same time, one has to set down a project at some point and move forward. So, here's to moving forward!
