Cell Tower Project (Start)
I am starting a new project of a cell tower buried in ice, covered in wind blown icicles. Inspiration came from existing cell towers and the look on the cover of The Day After Tomorrow. Progress updates will be coming as I work on the project. For now here is an image of the work I've done so far.
Got the base made with a few of the broadcasting units and one wire run all the way out. From my reference images it looks like each unit has at least 5 wires connecting to it. So...that will be fun to rig! I have 6 out of 12 of the primary units that I want on there, then I will add some secondary connecting units on the inner part of the "tree". I'll add a couple of signal lights onto the tower and I think that I will skip the tiny details like wire connectors, since this will be covered in ice anyway. More modeling to do, wish me luck!
